This course provides you with all the intricacies of finesse play, position play, masse' shots, jump shots, and techniques that provide more detailed instruction for the finer details of pocket billiards.
Things you will learn:
- Finesse play: Proper stroke techniques for the best outcomes. Learn how to compensate for throw/squirt when using a finesse game.
- Proper fast-stroke play: Proper stroke techniques for the best outcomes. Learn how to stay relaxed and mechanically sound on shots that require a lot of speed
- Finding the true center cue ball: this is much harder than you think.
- Perfecting the straight stroke: Introduce proper drills for perfecting your stroke (hint, it's not the coke bottle drill).
- How to properly masse' balls, for both finesse masse's (used most often) and larger masse's as a last resort.
- Jumping techniques: Learn the proper techniques to jump, a skill that has become more and more prevalent over the last several years in the sport.
- Kick system basics for one rail and two rail systems. While this course cannot teach you all kick systems, it can teach you ways to hit a hidden object ball to avoid ball in hand fouls. A more in-depth kicking system course is also offered for those that want to master one rail, two rail, and three rail systems.
- Introduction to aiming systems: While not a course that teaches actual aiming systems, it provides knowledge of what aiming systems are all founded upon and the man that started them all - Hal Houle.
